Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina urged everybody to create opportunity for women in every sectors in works so that they can be self-reliant in financially, reports banglanews24.com.
The Prime Minister said it should be observed that the women cannot face problem to achieve their right.
The Premier came up with this remark while distributing Rokeya Padak 2018 among five women at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre on the Rokeya Day today.
Every year, Rokeya Day is celebrated on this day marking birth and death anniversary of Begum Rokeya Shakhawat Hossain.
Bangladesh government is giving priority to the women education which was dreamt of Bnagabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, The Premier said. By the inspiration of Rokeya, the women of our country will play vital role in the society to build Bangabandhu’s golden Bangladesh, she said.
The Prime Minister said “Bnagabandhu said if women cannot self-sufficient financially, they will not get value in any where.”
The Prime Minister said nobody will take opportunity for you. You have to achieve your success and your right.
She remembered Bangamata Begum Fazilatunnesa on this day and said her mother inspired to her father in every situation and said him no need to pay heed to your family, you just do your work.
The Premier said mother should be concerned to their children so that they cannot be involved in any wrongdoing and militancy.
We have first introduced mother’s name in the birth certificate of child, she said. Now, the time limit of men are 71 years and women are 73 years.
The women leadership have been going ahead by the women of this sub-continent, she said.
