Bangladesh will play their third match of the ongoing AFC U-17 Asian Cup 2025 qualification against Macau today at the Prince Stadium in Phnom Penh, Cambodia at 3:00 pm (BST).
Bangladesh are currently third in the five-team Group B with 3 points from one win and one defeat.
They lost the first match to 10-man Cambodia by 0-1 goal on Saturday, but beat Philippines by 1-0 goal margin in their second group match on Wednesday.
Macau are currently at the bottom of the point table as they lost to Philippines, Cambodia and Afghanistan by 0-7, 0-1 and 0-9 goals respectively.
“We already played against two teams, tomorrow we will play against Macau. All of them have different playing styles,” said Bangladesh assistant coach Atiqur Rahaman Meshu on Thursday
“We've created enough chances (of goal) in the last two matches but failed to avail. But tomorrow we have to create chances and have to avail those if we want to win the match,” he added.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh will play their last group match against Afghanistan on 27 October at the same venue.
