Whether it is to express one’s mind to someone for the first time or rejuvenate the relationship, the idea of gifting a romantic novel or compilation of love poems is unparallel.
Keeping this in mind, publishers at Amar Ekushey Grantha Mela are offering a unique opportunity to express love through the timeless medium of literature.
Stalls and pavilions are ready with a delightful collection of romantic books, to cater the thirst of readers, complementing their taste and preference.

From classic romantic, love stories to modern romantic poetries, the fair is a treasure trove for book lovers seeking to celebrate their affection.
There is no shortage of options to explore. Be it a novel that transports readers to a world of passion and longing or a collection of poetries that captures the essence of romance, one can find an abundance of those through the aisles of the book fair.

Like other years, Ananya has come up with new collections by Imadadul Haq Milan’s ‘Ondhokar Namte Pareni’, a compilation of seven short stories by the eminent author, deals with the tales of a number of relationships. Of these, BhuleJaua Naam, Poddopata and Premikar Biyer Onushthan are three amazing love stories.
‘Tomake Bhalobashi’, ‘Lal Golap Tomake’, ‘Shrabon Jotsnay’, ‘Priyodorshini’, ‘Konna Rashir Konna’, ‘Kemon Bhalobasha Tomar’, and ‘Shei Bideshini’, are some of his old works of fiction which are still in the list of preference for romantic readers.

Sadat Hossain is probably the most popular young novelist of the country. Anyadhara has brought his romantic novel ‘Tomar Jonyo Dariye Chilam Bole’ this year.
Speaking about the novel, Sadat said, “I actually tried to pen a romantic novel but with incidents of mystery, thrill, and assassination it has surpassed my initial thoughts. I think it has turned into a mystery based romantic novel. Hope the readers will accept it.”

Anindya Prokash introduces two romantic novels – ‘Fagun Boshonte’, depicting the love story of Anis and his beloved Johara, by Mushtaq Ahmed and ‘Ordhangi’, narrating the love tale of Nadia, a student of Dhaka University, by Redwan Masud.
Nalanda Publications presents the romantic novel ‘Tobu Mon Bhabe Tare’ by Farzana Mitu, portraying the love story of Maruf,Ritu, Nitu, Sajal and Sayan.
Salesperson of the publishing house Minhaz Ahmed said the
novel is going good and they are expecting more response from readers on the occasion of Valentine’s Day.
“‘Tobu Mon Bhabe Tare’ portrays the dilemma of accepting old relationships and addressing past mistakes. We are getting good response from readers. Hope, it will increase further marking the Valentine’s Day,” he said.

Abosar Prokashana unveils the romantic thriller science fiction Onno Jogot by Khondokar Mehedi Hasan, along with several other novels including the Western romantic series Tandob.
Anyaprakash introduces the novel Flat Number Choy by Lamyea Chowdhury, portraying the joys, sorrows, and love story of three friends.
Talking to the Daily Sun the author said, “It is basically written about the happiness and sorrow and love story of three friends. Along with my previous books, readers are loving this book. Hopefully, I will get better response on the occasion of Valentine’s Day.” Apart from books on romantic novels and short stories, the number of collections of romantic poems is too much to count.
Panjeri Publications has published Shamim Azad’s collection of romantic poems ‘Shunnosthane Chumbon’. Agami Publications launches five collections romantic poems, including ‘Bhalobashi Bondhu Tomay’ by Sakim Hossain Shahin, and ‘Nirjon Bhalobasha’ by Kashem Khalil.

Liza Kamrunnahar’s collection of poems ‘Agnutpat’ has earned good response from readers while Dwipoj publishes ‘Prothom Agun’ by Arshi Gain.
On the thirteenth day of the book fair, a discussion on “Remembrance: Syed Waliullah” was held on the main stage of the book fair at 4:00pm.
Ahmad Mostafa Kamal presented the keynote paper while Harishankar Jaladas and Farhana Siddika participated in the discussion with Syed Manzoorul Islam in the chair. According to Bangla Academy, some 110 new books hit the stalls on the day.
