Film actor Arifin Shuvoo has lost his mother. Shuvoo’s mother Khairun Nahar, who was ailing for a long time, breathed her last at 11:55 pm on Wednesday at a hospital in the capital.   
Shuvoo informed his mother’s demise through a Facebook post on Thursday. He wrote: “My mother has gone to Allah (Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un). On 21 January, my mother suddenly fell ill. Since then, she has been fighting the last battle of her life in the hospital’s intensive care unit (ICU). The battle ended on 24 January at 11:55 pm due to brain hemorrhage.”
My mother was laid to rest at Martyred Intellectuals’ Graveyard after her Janazah at Kaloni Jame masjid and Jameul Uloom Madrasa Complex following the Fajr prayer. All of you have prayed for my mother before, I request that you will keep my mother in your prayers this time too, insha’Allah,” added the actor.
