Bangladeshi archers beat Singapore by 5-1 sets and Chinese Taipei by (28) 4-4 (25) sets in pre-quarterfinals and quarterfinals respectively but lost to China by 2-6 sets in the semifinals of this event at the same venue on Thursday.
The women’s recurve team comprising Diya Siddique, Sima Akter, Joty Rani were eliminated after losing to Australia by 3-5 sets in pre-quarters.
The men’s compound team comprising Sohel Rana, Newaz Ahmed Rakib and Md Ashikuzzaman beat Chinese Taipei by 232-226 in pre-quarters but lost to Korea by 232-234 in quarters. The women’s compound team comprising Shyamoli Roy, Bonna, Puspita Zaman lost tko Singapore by 223-226 in the quarterfinals.
