Bangladesh U-19 cricket team will take on their Afghani counterparts in the final of the Tri-Nation Under-19s Tournament at Tolerance Oval in Abu Dhabi, UAE today.
The junior Tigers earlier qualified for the final after Afghanistan registered a thrilling four-run win over Sri Lanka during the last league match of the tournament at the same venue on Tuesday.
Afghanistan finished the league stage with the highest six points while Bangladesh earned the final spot by earning four points while Sri Lanka could collect only two points from four games. Bangladesh earlier suffered a seven-wicket defeat to Afghans in their opening match of the tournament.
However, they were successful to beat the same opposition by 51 runs when the two teams met once again in the tournament.
