The Ministry of Religious Affairs has asked the three airlines associated with transportation of pilgrims to submit their hajj flight schedule on emergency basis to ensure proper hajj management.
In this regard, the ministry sent separate letters to three airlines -Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Saudi Airlines and Flynas Airlines on Sunday.
This year some 1,27,198 pilgrims from Bangladesh will be able to perform hajj in Saudi Arabia.
For the sake of smooth hajj management and to complete other tasks, including renting house in Makkah and Madinah, it is necessary to know the flight schedule on an urgent basis, mentions the letter.
