Supreme Court to resume judicial activities Sunday

After a 42-day vacation, including government and weekly holidays from 7 September to 18 October, the Supreme Court of Bangladesh will resume its regular judicial activities on Sunday (19 Oct).
Conventionally, on the first working day after the vacation, a courtesy meeting between the chief justice and the judges of both the Appellate, High Court Divisions of the Supreme Court and lawyers will be held on the same day.
A notification signed by Md Atikus Samad, deputy registrar of the Administration Wing of the High Court Division of the Supreme Court, has been published on the Supreme Court’s official website in this regard.
According to the notification, the chief justice and the Judges of both Divisions of the Supreme Court will join a courtesy meeting with the attorney general, the president and the secretary of the Supreme Court Bar Association along with lawyers from 11:30am to 1:00pm on the day.
The event will take place at the Inner Court Yard of the Supreme Court.
All concerned have been requested to be present at the event between 11:30am and 1:00pm.
