Ariful Islam showcased a brilliant all-round performance to help Bangladesh U-19 team clinch their first win in the ongoing tri-nation series in UAE as they beat their Afghanistan counterparts by 51 runs during their third match at Tolerance Oval in Abu Dhabi on Friday.
Ariful struck an unbeaten 105 off 128 balls while skipper Ahrar Amin made 87 runs as Bangladesh posted 292-6 in their 50 overs after they decided to bat first.
Bangladesh will now face Sri Lanka in their last league match at the same venue today. The top two teams from the league stage will qualify for the final, scheduled on March 30.
