‘JK 1971’, ‘Ora 7 Jon’ hit theatre today

Noted filmmaker Fakhrul Arefeen Khan’s ‘JK 1971’ and Khijir Hayat Khan’s directorial film ‘Ora 7 Jon’ will hit the theatres across the country today.
‘JK 1971’ will be released in Star Cineplex of Bashundhara City and SKS Tower, Blockbuster Cinemas in Dhaka , Lion Cinemas in Keraniganj, Cinescope in Narayanganj, Silver Screen and Star Cineplex Bali Arcade in Chattogram.  
While ‘Ora 7 Jon’ will be screened at 26 halls, including Star Cineplex of Bashundhara City, Sony Square and Bangabandhu Military Museum, Blockbuster Cinemas, Madhumita Hall in the capital, Silver Screen and Sugandha Hall in Chattogram, Modhuban Cineplex in Bogura and Shankha Cinema in Khulna.       
The story of ‘JK 1971’ is based on Jean Kay, a Frenchman, who hijacked a plane in 1971 in support of Bangladesh’s Liberation War. Indian actor Subhra Sourav Das will portray the role of Jean Kay while noted Indian actor Sabyasachi Chakraborty will be seen as a pilot in the film.
‘JK 1971’ has been made under the banner of Gorai Films. The film features US actor Francisco Raymond, Russian artistes Derya Guvrosenko and Nikolai Novominski, alongside Sourav and Sabyasachi.
On the other hand, the Liberation War film ‘Ora 7 Jon’ is highlighting the escapades of a squad of seven freedom fighters named ‘Nishachar Bahini’.
Alongside directing, Khijir Hayat has also written the story, dialogue and screenplay of movie.
Khijir Hayat said, “The film is about the heroes of our liberation war. The movie tells the story of seven brave freedom fighters. It also depicts the scenarios of how people fought during the war, their feelings and so on. I believe the audience will like our work.”
Actors Zakia Bari Mamo, Intekhab Dinar, Imtiaz Barshon,  Khijir Hayat Khan, Saif Khan, Nafis Ahmed, Khalid Mahbub Turjo, Shahriar Ferdous Shajib,  Shiba Shanu , Joy Raj and others will play different roles in the film.
