Popular Bangladeshi musician and actor Tahsan Khan renewed his commitment to serve as Goodwill Ambassador in Bangladesh for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency.
Having been a key advocate for refugees for years, Khan, who is popularly known as Tahsan, signed an agreement to further his work with UNHCR and refugees for two more years, said the UNHCR in Dhaka on Monday.
Tahsan Khan has been supporting UNHCR’s advocacy and outreach activities since 2019.
“It is a great pleasure working with Tahsan, and we are honoured that he has decided to continue advocating for the plight of the Rohingya refugees”, said Johannes Van Der Klaauw, UNHCR’s Representative in Bangladesh.
