For the first time in this event, an open discussion session called 'Jukti Takko ar Goppo' is going to be held.

This year’s edition will screen 18 classical and contemporary Bengali films, two short films and two documentaries. In addition to the film exhibition, there is an opportunity for Bengali cinephiles to directly interact and participate in discussions with film professionals.

Since 2002, Dhaka University Film Society (DUFS) has successfully organized 20 editions of this festival to honour the great martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Bangla language. The festival also serves the purpose of promoting Bangla cinema to the masses.
