The results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will be published on February 8.
Tapan Kumar Sarker, chairman of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka and convener of the inter-education board coordination committee, confirmed the date on Sunday.
Tapan Kumar Sarker said the boards have an obligation to publish the results by February 11, as there is a rule to publish the results within 60 days after the completion of the exam.
Some 1,203,407 students took part in the HSC and equivalent exams under nine education boards, one madrasah board, and a technical education board. The examinations began on November 6 of last year.
The theoretical exams ended on December 13, while the practical exams were held from December 15 to 22 at 2,649 centres across Bangladesh.
The higher secondary assessments were based on an abridged syllabus with fewer test subjects prior to the pandemic.
