The first four-day game between Bangladesh A and India A will get underway today at the Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium Ground 2.
Ahead of the match, both teams had a long practice session at the same venue on Monday.
Pujara and Umesh are likely to take part in the second game, scheduled in Sylhet on December 6-9.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh chief selector Minhajul Abedin said that they are eagerly waiting to see Mominul Haque scoring some runs in the four-day games against India A as his form is a big concern for them at the moment.
“There is nothing like scoring runs because it makes someone more confident as a batsman,” said Minhajul.
Bangladesh A had to make a forced change in their squad a day before the match as they included Zakir Hasan in place of injured Towhid Hridoy.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh ODI team began their official practice session in Mirpur on Monday ahead of their three-match ODI series against India. The Tigers opted to have a closed-door practice session as no media was allowed to enter the field to see their activities on the opening day of the camp.
