Bangladesh Legends suffered a crushing 70-run defeat to Sri Lanka League to finish their Road Safety World Series campaign in a disappointing manner in Raipur, India on Tuesday.
Chasing a massive target of 214 runs, Bangladesh could manage to score 143-8 in their 20 overs to finish the tournament without any win.
Tillakaratne Dilshan claimed 3-26 while Asela Gunaratne took two wickets for the winning side.
Earlier, Dilshan struck 51 off 30 balls while Mahela Udawatte and Sanath Jayasuriya made 43 and 37 runs respectively as Sri Lanka posted 213-5 in their 20 overs after Bangladesh sent them to bat first.
Bangladesh earlier suffered defeats to West Indies, New Zealand and Australia respectively in the tournament while their match against India had to be called off due to rain.
