Bashundhara Group stands by a kid with rare disease

Bashundhara Group has extended support for treatment of a child named Rishita Raisa who has been suffering from a rare disease.

The three-year-old girl has been suffering from Hirschsprung disease that affects the large intestine (colon) and causes problems with passing stool.

Bashundhara Group Director Sabrina Sobhan handed over a cheque for Tk 1 million to Rishita’s father Rahman Masud at her residence in the capital on Friday.

Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir’s son Ahmed Walid Sobhan and daughter Arisha Afroza Sobhan, Bashundhara Group Media Adviser Mohammad Abu Tayeb were also present on the occasion.  

Rahman Masud is a journalist who works for NewsBangla as a special correspondent. Once he worked for banglanews24.com, an outlet of East West Media Group.

Rahman Masud expressed gratitude to Bashundhara Group for its support for the treatment of his child, who is now undergoing treatment in India.
