Biman to introduce Dhaka-Sharjah flights Jan 25

Biman Bangladesh Airlines is going to introduce flights on the Dhaka-Sharjah route from January 25 to facilitate the travel of passengers to the United Arab Emirates city.

Initially, the national flag carrier will operate four flights per week on the popular route, a Biman press release said on Thursday.

Sale of tickets started at 3:00pm on Thursday, it said.

Biman flight BG51 will depart from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) in the capital at 10:30pm (local time) on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Mondays and will reach Sharjah at 2:15am (local time) the next day.

Flight BG 152 will take off from Sharjah at 4:00am on every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and reach Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram at 10:45am (local time).

The flight will leave the Chattogram airport at 11:45am to reach Dhaka at 12:30pm. Tickets are selling from Biman’s sales offices, sales centre at Balaka Headquarters, Biman call centre and from authorised travel agencies.

Passengers must be present at HSIA at least eight hours before their scheduled departure time to complete all formalities as per the travel advisory.
