icddr,b (International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh) has received fund from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) of United Sates to combat the antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and infectious diseases.

The CDC on Wednesday announced that it has awarded $22 million to 28 organisations worldwide to combat antimicrobial resistance and other healthcare threats through the establishment of two new networks—the Global Action in Healthcare Network (GAIHN) and the Global AR Laboratory and Response Network (Global AR Lab & Response Network).
