Bashundhara launches advanced SAP tech
Bashundhara Group Vice-Chairman Safwan Sobhan cuts a cake to inaugurate the installation of new software for Bashundhara Multi-Trading Limited at Bashundhara Industrial Headquarters-2 in the capital on Tuesday.

Bashundhara Group has introduced advanced technology to improve efficiency in the management of Bashundhara Multi Trading Limited (BMTL).

The industrial conglomerate on Tuesday installed the latest version of System Analysis Programme (SAP), a leading enterprise resource planning software, for the unit.

Bashundhara Group vice chairman Safwan Sobhan inaugurated the service at the group’s Industrial Headquarters-2 in Dhaka.

Deputy managing director Mustafizur Rahman, chief financial officer Mirza Mujahidul Islam and other senior officials of the Bashundhara Group were also present on the occasion.

The industrial conglomerate adopted the S/4HANA solutions of SAP from a German developer.

Bashundhara IT is implementing the S/4HANA, the latest version of the SAP.

The SAP S/4HANA is a complete enterprise resource planning (ERP) system with built-in intelligent technologies of AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics.

It helps the companies to adopt new business models, manage change at speed, orchestrate internal and external resources, and use power of artificial intelligence.

Bashundhara Group introduced the SAP solution back in 2009.

Bashundhara Multi Trading is the latest venture of the industrial conglomerate to take the SAP.

Bashundhara Multi Trading becomes the leading supplier of quality materials for constructions, including stone and coal after its in  ception in 2018.

The trading venture has gained popularity providing services at any corner of the country with strong supply chain management.
