‘Mission Extreme’ to be released in theatre today

After being delayed by two years due to corona pandemic, the first episode of the much-awaited police action thriller movie ‘Mission Extreme’ will be released worldwide today. Alongside Bangladesh, the film will hit the theatres of eight countries across the world.   

Initially, the film will be released a total of 48 cinemas in Bangladesh, including, Star Cineplexes, Blokbuster Cinemas in Dhaka, Monihar in Jashore, Cinema Place, Silver Screen and Sugandha in Chottogram, Modhuban Cineplex (Bagura),  Chitrali (Khulna), Rupkotha (Pabna) and Shapla (Rangpur).        

Directed by Sunny Sanwar and Faisal Ahmed, popular actors Arifin Shuvoo, Jannatul Ferdous Oishee, Taskin Rahman, Sadia Nabila, Sumit Sengupta, Raisul Islam Asad, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Shatabdi Wadud, Maznun Mizan, Iresh Zaker and others will be seen acting in the movie.

The story and screenplay were written by Sunny Sanwar himself. The film is produced by Cop Creation, in association with Mime Multimedia and Dhaka Detective Club.

Earlier, the film was scheduled to release in 2020 on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr but was postponed due to the corona situation in the country. It was rescheduled for a 2021 Eid release, but again pandemic prevented it.

Mission Extreme is a two-part film, and the second part will be released after a couple of months of the first part, according to the makers.
