Bangladesh fined for slow over rate; Hasan reprimanded

Bangladesh national cricket team on Saturday was fined 20 percent of their match fees for maintaining a slow over-rate during their three-match T20I series opener against Pakistan, held in Mirpur on Friday.

Bangladesh were ruled to be one over short of the target after time allowances were taken into consideration.

Meanwhile, Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali was reprimanded for breaching Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct and he was penalized with one demerit point which was added to his disciplinary record.

The incident occurred in the 17th over of Bangladesh innings when Hasan gave an inappropriate sendoff to batsman Nurul Hasan after dismissing him caught behind the wicket.
