A Bangladesh Cricket Board official on Friday informed that they had a positive discussion with the wicketkeeper-batsman Mushfiqur Rahim during a hearing of a show-cause notice.
The BCB earlier issued a show-cause notice to Mushfiqur for breaching the media protocol code of conduct and he attended a hearing on Friday evening at the BCB headquarters.
“He (Mushfiqur) is a very important player and probably there was some communication gap but I feel that gap has been ended after the discussion.
“He (Mushfiqur) is now on his way to Chattogram to take part in the preparation camp that is designed with Test probables from tomorrow (Sunday),” he added.
Mushfiqur earlier questioned his non-selection for the ongoing Pakistan T20I series to the media as he felt he was dropped instead of being ‘rested’ and he asked the selectors to be honest with the words and it prompted the BCB to issue him a show-cause notice.
