The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) recorded four deaths and 234 cases from coronavirus in the last 24 hours till Monday morning.
The daily coronavirus infection rate has remained below two percent for the last few weeks. Some 1.32 percent infection rate was reported on Monday. It was 1.14 percent on Sunday.
The number of daily cases was reported below 500 for the last 33 days in a row.
The number of total infections has risen to 15,72,735 with the overall positivity rate 14.82 percent. Some 17,700 samples were tested in the last 24 hours to detect the infection cases.
The national death toll has increased to 27,926 with a case fatality rate of 1.78 percent. The number of death remains below 10 for the last 29 consecutive days.
