The 20-member preliminary national women’s team squad will start their fitness camp on Thursday ahead of their tour of Zimbabwe where they will play three WODIs before taking part in the ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifiers.

A BCB official said that the members of the national women’s team have already reported for the camp and they will continue the skill camp until November 5.

Bangladesh will take on Zimbabwe respectively on November 9, 11 and 13 in Harare before taking part in the forthcoming ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifiers, scheduled from November 16 to December 5.

The women’s team is expected to fly to Zimbabwe on November 6.

The BCB earlier arranged a month-long camp for the women’s team at the BKSP that ended with a four-team zonal competition.

Later, they arranged a fitness camp where they also played five 50-over matches between them.
