Doraiswami pays homage to Bangabandhu

Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Vikram K Doraiswami paid homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman marking National Mourning Day and the 46th anniversary of his martyrdom.

Indian diplomats in Dhaka led by the High Commissioner paid rich tributes to the architect of Bangladesh’s independence by placing a wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu in front of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi Road 32 in the capital.

“Respectful homage to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on his martyrdom. India shares the grief of Bangladesh. We are inspired to protect the values Bangabandhu stood for,” tweets the High Commission of India.
