Speakers for creating job opportunity for poor

 Speakers in a webinar focused on creating job opportunities for low-income group of people and fighting against the Covid-19 pandemic situation through vaccination.

 They also said that many self-employed people and low-income group of people became unemployed during Covid-19 pandemic and it would be worsen if the Covid-19 situation lingers more time.

They came up with the remark while speaking in a webinar on ‘Effect of Pandemic and Unemployment’, jointly organised by Entrepreneurial Economist Club (EEC) and Dhaka school of Economics (DScE), an affiliated of Dhaka University on Wednesday.

Dr Anisul M Islam, Professor of University of Hustn-Downtown, USA attend the webinar as the chief guest while Professor Parul Khana, Vice-Principal, IMT, Faridabad, India, joined as the keynote presenter.

Dr Ireen Akter, professor of Jahangirnagar University and Dr Yashoda Krisna, GNVS Institute of Management, India attend the function as special guests.

Dr Muhhammad Mahboob Ali, professor and entrepreneurship economics programme coordinator of DScE chaired the webinar.

Dr Ashu Jain, Coordinator, Department of Tax Procedure and Practice, Aloysus College, India, Rehana Parvin and Sara Tasneem, Assistant Professors of DsE, Umman Nahar Azmee, President of EEC, among others, spoke at the function.
