Quick response team formed for expat workers

The Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment has formed a quick response team to help the country’s expatriate workers in their need amid the coronavirus situation.

Those expatriates, who are working aboard or those who have returned to country following the corona pandemic or those who are planning to go abroad for job, will get necessary support from the team, sources said.

Director of Wage Earners’ Welfare Board Arif Ahmed Khan (01819262172) is made the convener of the team.

Senior Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Md Sarwar Alam (01712207227), Senior Statistics Officer of Bureau of Manpower Employment and Training (BMET) Md Masud Rana (01711111544), Deputy Director of Wage Earners’ Welfare Board Md Zahid Anwar (01716869222), Assistant Director Md Azizul Islam Bhuyian (01942220052), Deputy Assistant Director Md Abdul Kader (01311153491), and office assistant cum computer operator Mohammad Moniruzzaman (01760217853) were made the members of the team.
