China’s factory activity growth expected to slow slightly: Poll

BEIJING: China’s factory activity was expected to have grown at a slightly slower pace in April while maintaining momentum as the world’s second-largest economy continues its recovery, a Reuters poll showed on Thursday.

The official manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), is expected to edge down to 51.7 for April from 51.9 in March, according to the median forecast of 30 economists polled by Reuters.
