Gas supply to remain shut for 7.30hrs in N’ganj, Munshiganj today

Natural gas supply will remain shut in greater Narayanganj and Munshiganj for more than 7.30 hours starting from 4:30 am today.

It suspends the supply as the Gas Transmission Company Limited (GTCL) and Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited (TGTDCL) will carry out valve replacement work in Horipur from 4:30 am to 12:00 pm on Friday.

According to a press release issued in this regard, gas supply to Narayanganj city area on the west side of Shitalakhya river, Siddhirganj, Adamjee EPZ, Godnail, Pagla, Fatulla, Narayanganj BSCIC, Panchabati to Muktarpur, Munshiganj Sadar, Munshiganj BSCIC, Rekabi Bazar and adjoining areas will stay shut from 4.30 am on April 16, 2021.

Apart from those, gas supply to Kachpur, Haripur, Kutubpur, Madanpur, Bandar area, Keodala, Nangalband and its adjoining areas on the east side of Shitalakhya river will also be shut on the day. Moreover, gas pressure will remain low in Keraniganj and Shempur areas.
