Bangladesh national cricket team reached Christchurch, New Zealand on Wednesday ahead of their white-ball series against the hosts, starting on March 20.

Tigers’ first overseas tour in the new normal environment starts with a long quarantine followed by three ODIs and three T20Is.

The series was earlier pushed back by a week due to the ongoing challenges in the Covid-19 environment.

The three ODIs will now be held on March 20, 23 and 26 in Dunedin, Christchurch and Wellington respectively while the three T20Is will take place on March 28, 30 and April 1 in Hamilton, Napier and Auckland respectively.

Bangladesh team officials informed that Tigers will wear special trousers in the series to make sure that they can rub the ball so that the shine of the ball remains intact. The fabric of the trouser is brought from Thailand.
