3,122 children get educational materials in Dinajpur

DINAJPUR: The World Vision Bangladesh, a Christian humanitarian organization, under the Advancing Partners & Communities (APC) project distributed 56,196 educational materials free of cost among the 3,122 disadvantaged children in the district on Friday.

A distribution function of the educational materials was held at Gore a Shaheed Baro Maidan in the district around 2pm on Friday.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Md Shariful Islam handed over the 56,196 educational materials including notebooks, pens and pencils to the disadvantaged children.

District manager of the World Vision Bangladesh, Dinajpur Arvind Sylvester Gomez presided over the function, Swapan Kumar Sarkar, Public Relations Officer of Dinajpur World Vision told the agency.

Each of the children got eight notebooks, eight pens and two pencils.
