Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a2i to facilitate entrepreneurs of small and cottage industry.
As per the MoU, a2i will provide assistance to set up e-commerce platforms for BSCIC's entrepreneurs at the initial stage, enhance digital skills and provide necessary market connection.BSCIC Chairman Md Mostaq Hasan, a2i Project Director Dr Md Abdul Mannan, a2i Policy Advisor Anir Chowdhury and other officials attended the ceremony.
BSCIC Chairman Md Mustaq Hasan said that BSCIC has started providing one stop services as fifth organisation of the government following 2041 master plan.
Now BSCIC entrepreneurs in collaboration with ekShop, a2i, ICT Division can connect with e-commerce, he added.
A2i Project director Md Abdul Mannan said that ekshop has been marketing products of marginal entrepreneurs in Malaysia, Singapore and other countries.
The BSCIC entrepreneurs will be able to avail the logistics services and online payment facility of ekShop.
ekShop will provide them assistance in building e-commerce connectivity at home and abroad.
