Bashundhara Oil & Gas roadshow draws attention in CTG

CHATTOGRAM: A roadshow and a meeting for raising Tk 7,457.75 crore under syndication arrangements were held in the port city on Saturday to help establish a petrochemical complex plant (Polyolefin unit) of Bashundhara Oil & Gas Company Limited (BOGCL) in Sitakunda upazila.

This is the largest project financing in the country’s private sector, involving a total of

Tk 9,943.66 crore.

Agrani Bank Limited is acting as lead arranger and agent bank in this syndication project financing.

General Manager (Credit) Dr Md Abdullah Al Mamun, Deputy General Manager Engineer Md Shahjahan and other executives and technical personnel of the lead arranger were present at the meeting.

BOGCL Head of Banking Razib Samad, Head of Project Nafis Imtiaz, other high officials, and representatives of a total of 15 prospective lender banks and non-banking financial institutes also attended the meeting.
