Power Grid Company official sued

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Wednesday filed a case against Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB) Assistant Accountant Md Nurul Amin on charges of amassing wealth illegally.

ACC Assistant Director Md Ismail Hossain filed the case with its integrated district office-1 in Dhaka against Nurul Amin, assistant accountant-1 at the office of Chief Engineer (Transmission-2) of PGCB Ltd at Aftabnagar in the capital.

ACC Director (Media) Pranab Kumar Bhattacharjee said the accused illegally amassed wealth worth Tk 1.02 crore and he concealed information on his wealth worth Tk 36 lakh in his wealth statement submitted to the ACC on March 22, 2018.
