Twelve new dengue cases were reported in the last 24 hours across the country including Dhaka until Sunday morning, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The DGHS said 12 new dengue patients have been admitted in hospitals in the country in the last 24 hours. Of them, nine admitted to hospitals in the capital.Thirty dengue patients are undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country. Of them, 25 patients are taking treatment at 41 government and private hospitals in the capital, DGHS said.
However, no death was reported from in the last 24 hours, the health directorate said.
A total of 573 people have been diagnosed with dengue since the beginning of this year. Among them, 539 have recovered. Dengue killed 179 people last year, according to the DGHS.
