Prof Dr Rashid Askari joins int'l virtual confec

Professor Dr Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari, Department of English of Islamic University in Kushtia, on Saturday joined the concluding day of a three-day international virtual conference on gender studies.

Cape Comorin Trust and Lavender Literary Club, India in collaboration with Al Maarif University College, Iraq; Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University, Bangladesh Department of Folklore; University of Creative Technology, Bangladesh, Department of English Language and Literature; and Khurasan University, Afghanistan, Faculty of Social Science and Department of English language and literature; Great Imam College, Iraq, Department of Religion Basics in association with Cap Comorin Publishers, India joinly organised the virtual conference beginning on Thursday, said a press release.

Professor Dr Rashid Askari joined the plenary session of the programme at 11.00am and presented a paper titled ‘Psychological Abuse against Women and Judicial Relief'.

Hundreds of scholars from different universities and colleges of India, Bangladesh, Iraq and Afghanistan also connected to the conference.
