Covid test a must for foreigners

The government has imposed three precautionary conditions for foreignersto enter the countrythrough 10 land portsto rein inCovid-19.

The security services division under the ministry of the home affairs has issued and imposed the conditions.

As per the conditions, the foreigners involved in government, semi-government and autonomous development projects must have legal VISA to enter Bangladesh.

Foreigners will also require Covid-19 negative certificate that must be issued within 72 hours before entry.

Besides, the foreigners should be tested Covid negative during entry thru’ the land ports of Benapole, Bhomra, Banglaband, Hili, BurimariRaumari, Darshana, Nakugaon, Tamabil, Shawla and Akhaura.

The security services division also sent the demo official letter before two dozens of ministries and divisions including power division, bridges division and ministry of railway,etcthat are implementing the major mega projects to make Bangladesh a middle income country.

Some 2,582 newCovid cases have been detected in the last 24 hours till Wednesday, raising the number to 317,528 since the detection of the first case on March 8, 2020.
