BSFF to hold virtual filmmaking workshop

Bangladesh Short Film Forum is going to organise a virtual filmmaking workshop to help aspiring filmmakers from outside the capital who cannot travel to Dhaka for attending filmmaking workshops.

The workshops will be held on July 23 to August 21. The event will feature 15 classes on theory and techniques of filmmaking. 

Filmmakers Tanvir Mokammel, Manzare Hasin Murad, Moinuddin Khaled, Zahidur Rahim Anjan, Mahmudul Hossain Dulal, Ratan Paul, Znaed Halim, Torun Ghosh, and Rakibul Hasan will conduct the online classes.

Besides, noted filmmakers Syed Salahuddin Zaki, Morshedul Islam and Nasiruddin Yousuff Bachchu will share their experience of filmmaking with the students.

 ‘Selected candidates will have to pay Tk 1,000 as course fee for participating in the virtual workshop. Classes will remain suspended during Eid-ul-Adha vacation and on August 15, sources said. The workshop will be streamed using Facebook or Zoom.
