Two prominent figures of country’s football namely SM Salahuddin Ahmed and Faruk Ahsan passed away on Sunday.
Former national team footballer and former team manager of U-nder15 SM Salahuddin died at his own residence in Narayanganj after suffering fever along with pneumonia for the last few days. He was 60 and left behind his wife, two sons. He was buried to rest at the local graveyard.Former footballer Faruk Ahsan passed away at the city’s BIRDEM General Hospital. He was 58 and left behind wife and two daughters. He was buried to rest at the Azimpur Graveyard.
The entire football community along with Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) expressed their deepest condolences.
