Celebrities plan for Eid at home

The coronavirus pandemic has taken the world by storm, leaving everyone in a loop of uncertainty. The entertainment world is not an exception in this exceptionally unpredictable circumstance. In this crucial time, celebrities of the showbiz industry are staying at home, taking necessary steps to keep themselves safe. They also actively engage in creating awareness about the deadly virus, in addition to maintaining their creative pursuit from home, however possible. Let’s take a look at some of their regular activities and find out what they have planned for this Eid.

Actor and model Irfan Sajjad, about his activities at home, shares his thoughts on the current situation. Irfan told the Daily Sun, “It’s been a long period we are at home. But I don’t want to keep my brain idle. In this time I have watched a lot of good movies, TV shows and my previous works so that I can find out my flaws and develop my acting skills. Besides, I am doing some online corporate courses as I was previously involved with the corporate sector.”

“Most importantly, I am spending time with my family and have taken necessary steps to protect them in this situation. I am also concerned for my fans and posting on social media to make them aware of this virus. I have made a short-film ‘Keo Ki Achen’ recently as part of my social responsibility. I have posted it on social media towards my fans. The short film conveys a message to humanity and leaves some questions to the world about this disaster.” As for Eid plans, the actor said, “This year Eid is one-of-a-kind for all of us. We don’t have the mental peace for any kind of festivity right now. I just pray everyone will be safe this Eid.”

“Lastly, I want to say to my fans that stay safe and keep others safe. We will win this battle InshAllah.”

Actress Nazia Haque Orsha also shared her home activities and sent some messages to her fans.

Talking to the Daily Sun, the actress said, “Though we are going through a very difficult time, we have to stay strong. We have to find out the positive side and practise those. Like, we didn’t get enough time to spend with our family. Now we are spending quality time with our family members. ”

“Besides, I am doing household chores like cooking, sorting things etc. I was not too interested in cooking before, but now I’m doing well. I am also trying to develop a strong immune system. That’s why I am encouraging everyone to have healthy and balanced food.”

“I want to add one more thing: I am spending more time on my prayers. It gives peace to my soul.”

Regarding Eid, Orsha said, “This year Eid is different from the previous Eid. No one can feel the festivity in this situation. But we can do much more for this holy occasion. I personally help some people in distress and urge everyone to contribute within their ability.”

“I want to say to my fans that we need to stay strong both physically and mentally. Wish everyone a happy Eid-ul-Fitr,” the actress added.
