Senior photo journalist M Mizanur Rahman Khan died from coronavirus-like symptoms on Wednesday. He was 54.
Mizanur, who was working as a photojournalist of Bangla daily ‘Bangladesher Khabor’, died after he fell sick at Dhaka Reporters’ Unity (DRU) on Wednesday afternoon.According to his family members, Mizanur had been suffering from a light cold and started coughing for the last three days. On Wednesday morning, he went to submit his sample at DRU’s dedicated coronavirus testing booth. While waiting for his turn, he suddenly became ill and lost consciousness. Later, DRU officials sent him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital by ambulance, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
