A total of 60 covered vans of Bangladesh Post Office (BPO) are transporting personal protective equipment (PPE), kits and public awareness campaign leaflets for civil surgeon offices across the country free of cost.

BPO has taken the initiatives after the instruction came from Posts and Telecommunications Minister Motafa Jabbar on Saturday in the wake of growing concerns over the deadly COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

Director General of BPO SS Badra will monitor the delivery services.  Posts and telecommunications division hoped to work for ensuring uninterrupted mobile phone connections and internet services across the country in this unusual circumstance.
