Bringing Back Shine On Damaged Hair

More often than not, lustrous shiny hair is only a myth. It is something some of us achieve after coming out from a salon. Some are lucky to possess it immediately after a shower. Then there are those who possess covetous shiny hair 365 days a year! However, they are few in numbers! For the rest of us, we either have to keep our hair tied when outside or face the frizziness for weeks after weeks. If you are one of those people bothered by dull, frizzy hair and are looking for ways to bring back the shine, then this column is perfect for you. You don’t need to spend millions to achieve shiny hair! Just be a bit cautious, invest in obtaining good habits and also eat well. Here are some other tricks:

Use a good conditioner

The first and foremost rule of getting lustrous, gorgeous hair is using the best quality conditioner after using an even better shampoo. Cleaning it properly is crucial. There are certain shampoo brands that really strip hair off its moisture. It’s better to opt for gentler shampoos. However, with that said, it’s important to note that even the most gentle shampoo will still take away moisture and oil from your hair. That is why the importance of a good quality conditioner cannot be stressed enough. The appropriate conditioner can help you regain the moisture that is lost while cleansing. It will also help you get that sparkle back on your hair. Make sure you rinse your hair properly. If you are suffering from hair fall, only apply conditioner on hair shafts and try your best to avoid the scalp.

Use apple cider vinegar

A very easy and efficient way to get instant glitz on your hair is with apple cider vinegar. Don’t let its poignant smell fool you though. Apple cider vinegar is a gentle cleanser and leaves hair very soft and shiny. Make sure you rinse it off well with water.

Mayonnaise mantra

We know whole eggs can do wonders on our hair, but mayonnaise (made up of eggs) is on a totally different level! They can be your instant protein boost that your hair has been missing for so long! Leave it on your hair for thirty minutes. You can also apply it on scalp. Wash it off with a good shampoo followed by conditioner.

Stay hydrated

Besides these, it is important that you drink plenty of water. If you like beverages, switch to green tea from your regular tea. Make sure you include plenty of fruits in your diet. All these will have a great impact on your hair health.

Our manes are our glories. With the ideas stated above, you can easily get back a healthy shine on your hair. Try to get enough sleep and also make sure that you keep stress at bay!
