Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University (DU) Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman urged the younger generation to follow the path of honesty and truth in all ways of life.

He said that zero tolerance policy for all forms of irregularities and corruption has to be adopted for the nation’s sake.

He came up with the remarks while addressing the inauguration programme of "4th National Child Researcher Conference" at Teacher-Student centre (TSC) auditorium on the campus on Thursday.

Private organisations 'Chintar Chash' organised the conference.

"This is the era of innovation and creativity. We have to build a beautiful society by utilizing our youths' courage, compassion and encouragement,” the VC said.

'Chintar Chash' chairman Shafiqur Rahman presided over the programme.
