‘6.5 lakh land cases disposed online’

Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury on Monday said a total of 655,220 land-related cases were disposed of through online system.

He also said a total of 10 lakh land-related cases were filed during the tenure of the incumbent government.

The minister came up with the information while addressing a press conference held at his ministry office in the capital.

Mentioning that over 1.8 crore service seekers are getting service from the e-mutation system, he said around 9,95,815 people submitted namjari (mutation) applications online.

“The government introduced e-mutation system form July 1 across the country, but three hill tract districts are out of the services.”

“The e-mutation system is being implemented at 485 upazila land offices and circle offices and 3,617 union land offices across the country,” said the minister.
