3-day int’l photography exhibition ends today

 A three-day international photography exhibition titled ‘PSA Print International Exhibition 2019’ will end today at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA).

Phoenix Photographic Society (PPS), a renowned photographic organisation of Bangladesh, and Photographic Society of America (PSA) have been organised the exhibition. 

Earlier, US Ambassador to Bangladesh Earl R Miller inaugurated the exhibition as chief guest on Friday at gallery 2 of National art Gallery of the academy at 5:30pm.

Pioneer woman photo journalist of Bangladesh Sayeeda Khanam, International Relations, PSA’s Vice President Agatha Anne Bunanta, among others were present on the inaugural ceremony.

The event was conducted by PPS President Syed Sakhawat Kamal and PPS Publicity Secretary Khaled Bin Salam. 

PSA is a non-profit global organisation founded in 1934 in the United States of America. PSA worldwide promotes arts and science of photography as means of friendship, communication, image appreciation and cultural exchange.

The exhibition is exhibiting 70 images from 70 PSA worldwide members. This event will be a new opening of cultural bridge between the two countries. PSA presence in Bangladesh is very significant through its programmes and activities.

PPS, a Bangladeshi Photography organisation, is having club affiliation of PSA worldwide. The organisers believe that it would be a good gathering of photographers, media personalities and enthusiastic audiences as it is going to be held at one of the prime venues in Bangladesh.
