Jashore college boy ‘commits suicide’ as parents rebuked him

JASHORE: A college student reportedly committed suicide in a huff as his parents scolded him over excessive use of mobile phones in Lon Office Para area of district town early Thursday, reports UNB.

The deceased was identified as Miraz-uz-Zaman, 16, student of Jashore Government City College and son of homeopathy doctor Kayed Uz Zaman.

Sub-inspector of Kotwali Police Station Khaledur Rahman said Miraz hanged himself with the ceiling fan of his room as his parents rebuked him over excessive use of mobile phone in late nights.
