Peninsula marks Pahela Baishakh

CHATTOGRAM: The Peninsula Chittagong, a four-star hotel in the city, celebrated the Pahela Baishakh, the first day of the Bangali New Year, amid festivity and in traditional way.   

The hotel Chairman Mahboob-Ur-Rahman inaugurated the Baishakhi programmes by cutting a ribbon while Managing Director Mustafa Tahseen Arshad, General Manager Mushtak Luhar and newly appointed Executive Chef KDJ Milroy Nanayakkara from Sri Lanka were present among others.

With traditional and colourful decoration, the arrangements helped foods to have the authentic tastes of traditional Bengali foods.
