Bangladesh Pratidin-Royal Tiger WC Football Quiz draw held

Bangladesh Pratidin-Royal Tiger World Cup Football Quiz-2018 draw was held through a formal lottery in a gala event at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital on Saturday.

Home Ministry Senior Secretary Fariduddin Ahmed Chowdhury was the chief guest of the ceremony.

Shadhin Bangla Football Team vice-captain Pratap Shankar Hajra, Lt Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Ltd Football Committee Chairman Ashrafuddin Ahmed Chunnu, Member Abdul Gaffar, Former footballer Shafiqul Islam Manik, Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra head coach Saiful Bari Titu, skipper Ashraful Islam Rana, former footballer Kazi Josiuddin Josi were present in the ceremony.

The daily sun Editor Enamul Hoque Chowdhury was also present in the ceremony.

Bangladesh Pratidin Editor Naem Nizam and executive editor Peer Habibur Rahman also illuminated the event with their presence. Kaler Kantho executive editor Mostofa Kamal was also present in the ceremony.

On behalf of Royal Tiger, Director (Sales and Marketing) Khairul Anam graced the event with his presence.

The quiz was held in two stages.

Juboraj won the first prize of the first phase which was Dhaka-Bangkok-Dhaka air ticket. Kabir Hossain won a 32 inch LED TV as the second prize. Suraiya Akhtar won a 12 CFT Refrigerator as the third prize.

In the second phase MA Hamid won a Dhaka-Bangkok-Dhaka air ticket as the first prize while Samia won a 32 inch LED TV as the second prize. Shawkat Hossain won a 12 CFT Refrigerator.

Out of thousands of participants, lucky few were selected through a lottery draw system. The quiz was divided into two phases with each phase containing a lot of prizes.

“I am very honoured to be here at this event. I am very proud to have covered all the people present in the ceremony at a stage in my career,” said Enamul Hoque Chowdhury.

Bangladesh Pratidin Editor Naem Nizam applauded the winners of the quiz while stating that the co-operation between Bangladesh Pratidin and Royal Tiger has played an important role in the advancement of football in Bangladesh.

“I thank Globe Beverage who have been with us since our inception. We hope to have you as our partner in future as well,” said Naem Nizam.

Home Ministry Senior Secretary Fariduddin Ahmed Chowdhury also emphasised on the continuing relationship between Bashundhara Group and sports which resulted in such a brain tingling quiz contests.

“I thank Bashundhara Group for promoting every sports of the nation. I want to make sure that football regains its glorious past,” said Fariduddin.

Globe Beverages Director (Sales and Marketing) Khairul Anam reiterated their commitment of promoting sports and stressed on their partnership with Bangladesh Pratidin.
