Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan has expressed deep sorrow and condolence over the death of Begum Parul Ahmed, mother of Liaquat Hossain, a senior executive director of the industrial conglomerate.

In a condolence message, Ahmed Akbar Sobhan said, “I, on behalf of me and all members of the Bashundhara family, expressed deep grief and sympathy to the bereaved family.

“I pray for the eternal salvation of the departed soul and that Almighty Allah may grant patience to the family members of the deceased to overcome this irreparable grief,” he said.

Parul Ahmed, 80, passed away on Sunday after suffering from old age complications.

She is survived by her husband, four sons, a daughter, and well-wishers to mourn her death.
